An American national, Frank Armando was sentenced to death by the Central Jakarta district court led by Judge Dehel Kasandan on 4 August 2010 for drugs charges.

"We will have a look at that first. We have to take into account his efforts in trying to save his life and how far he has fought for it," Prasetyo explained, Jakarta, Tuesday (5/5/2015).

HM Prasetyo said he remains unsure whether or not Frank Armando will be put into the third batch execution list.

Frank was arrested by law enforcers in 2009 following revelations his active drugs trading activity including his 5,6 kg crystal meth exchanges.

Frank was captured along with hs accomplice, Payman or Azi Salah, an Iranian national at the Royal Park apartment situated in Central Jakarta.

His request however, was rejected and so now he is currently detained in Cipinang, East Jakarta until further notice. (Akp/Tnt)
